Turmeric extracts have been studied in people, but different extracts are not interchangeable. A 2013 trial enrolled 120 adults with knee osteoarthritis and compared a particular extract, NR-INF-02 at 500mg twice daily, with placebo, glucosamine or a combination over 42 days.
